OneTouch Verio Sync System is the first meter that automatically sends blood sugar test results via Bluetooth to your iPod touch, iPad, and/or iPhone gadgets.

This device works with the mobile application called OneTouch Reveal. Using the OneTouch Verio Sync System as to taking the blood sugar, it will be detected by the mobile app and will allow users to view their blood sugar results in their own iPod touch, iPad, or iPhone wirelessly (via Bluetooth). It also includes the 14-day summary of the blood glucose test results showing simple visual of target range in percentage. These results can also be shared via SMS or email with their family, friends, and health care providers.

The device is capable of its own display for viewing the individual readings which is advantage to users to be not dependent on having at hand iOS device. It has also planned option which is the buffering capability so that it can store multiple test results that can be sent as one in the mobile app once it is connected.
